A new start.

Hey there!

Thanks for visiting my new blog, “Ramblings of a 20 Something.”

After having multiple blogs off-and-on for the past 8 years, I’ve decided to start a new one. And perhaps this time I’ll actually keep it relevant.

Why “Ramblings of a 20 Something”?

Well, I’m known to ramble. I talk a lot. I tend to tell stories that off-shoot into new, semi-unrelated stories. How the dictionary defines rambling:

“of writing or speech: lengthy and confused or inconsequential”

This blog is going to be a hodgepodge of randomness: what I’m listening to, reviews of restaurants, travel recaps, random thoughts I have while commuting, insights into life as a 20-something.

“of a plant: putting out long shoots and growing over walls or other plants; climbing”

I am a 20-something. I’m beginning a new stage of life and growing and changing. I’m outgrowing some walls I’ve built for myself and creating new gardens in which I can grow.

“of a building or path: spreading or winding irregularly in various directions”

This blog is a place with no true direction. It’ll set it’s own direction as I write. It’ll change directions.

“of a person: traveling from place to place; wandering”

I am just starting to explore life. I’m wandering, trying to figure out how to adult. I’m traveling to new places and experiencing new adventures.

So there you have it.

My goal for this blog is to be real and relatable. I want you, the reader, to finish a post inspired, nodding your head thinking “OMG totally!” or just have a good laugh. I look forward to sharing my 20-something insights with you and meeting new friends along the way!
